My mind flips between the truth and disbelief
Our rainbow of love and light is gone
In these darkening hours, I’ve lost my balance
Even though she taught me to carry on
I sit in the place where I first heard her voice
The sound of her Om so free
I would close my eyes to distractions outside
Her words were pure melody
how can it be?
A eulogy
For the Goddess of Infinity
Her lavender touch at the end of our practice
The hug as we left on our way
Filled me up with abundance, laughter and joy
And the will to make each day a better day
The jewels that adorned her, the smile in her eyes
Lifted me up when I was weak
How this picture of health could just fall off the wall
Shakes the ground under my feet
how can it be?
A eulogy
For the Goddess of Infinity
The lotus flower sinks at night but rises again with light
My heart is an aching stone, it will rise again I know…

Note: The lotus flower grows in muddy water and rises above the surface to bloom with remarkable beauty. At night the flower closes and sinks underwater; at dawn it rises and opens again. Untouched by the impurity, the lotus symbolizes purity of heart and mind.
