HEY! I made it to the FINALS of the 2008 South Florida Folk Festival's Singer/Songwriter Competition. I competed in the live competition in Ft. Lauderdale on Saturday, Jan 19, 2008. The talent was tremendous, and it was wonderful meeting and hearing so many musicians. Although I was not a top winner, the experience was a huge success for me!

A song that Carol Heffler and I wrote called "Don't Call Me Ma'am" is receiving broad attention. It was seen by thousands in the State Street Players show (March 2007). Also, the award-winning a capella group Key Of She has added the song to their repertoire.
